Emily Schultheis is a master’s student studying Ecosystem Science and Management at the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability. She completed her B.S. in biology with a concentration in ecology, evolution, and conservation at Central Michigan University. Her project work is focused on building an extensive site plant inventory and developing and implementing experimental buckthorn removal techniques. In her free time Emily enjoys hiking with her dog, caring for her houseplants, and baking for her friends.
