Eric Diesing joined the Clinton River Watershed Council as the Environmental Scientist in 2016 and was promoted to Watershed Ecologist in 2018. Eric graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a Specialization in Natural Resource Sustainability and Management, as well as a Biology minor. Eric has also completed level 1 and 2 river morphology classes with Wildland Hydrology in 2019. His responsibilities include coordination of citizen science programs such as Adopt-A-Stream and road stream crossing, as well as ecological applications, the Clinton River Coldwater Conservation Project and field data collection and monitoring. In his off time, Eric enjoys camping, hiking and kayaking as well as being an avid reptile and amphibian keeper.
