John Taylor is the Land Manager and Restoration Ecologist for the Field Station and Environmental Education Center at Ball State University. He holds degrees in Botany and Plant Ecology, both from Ball State, and has worked in this area since 1991. His research interests are in forest ecology, GIS, prescribed fire and habitat restoration. John also serves on the board of directors of Red-tail Land Conservancy land trust in east central Indiana and is an active member of Partners for the Americas: Indiana/Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
