Michael Hahn grew up in the Chicago area and has been working in the ecological restoration field for the last 13 years. Five years ago he moved his family to Michigan to work for the City of Ann Arbor in the Natural Area Preservation program as a Stewardship Specialist. There he helps to coordinate stewardship activates throughout the 1200 acres of undeveloped city parkland. Prior to working for the City, he was employed by a land trust managing natural areas and coordinating volunteers. Mike and his wife have two fun-loving children. They enjoy their time together playing outside looking for mushrooms, fishing, hunting and working in their garden.
