My unique background in community development, management, and fine art have allowed me to approach fundraising, conservation, and non-profit management in a new way. My techniques place a heavy emphasis on establishing community relevance, telling the story of our work in innovative and impactful ways, and finding meaningful ways the charitable mission of my organization can play a role in improving the quality of life in the communities it serves.
I am an independent photographer focused on documentary and environmental images. Based in Michigan, I have over 20 years of experience making photographs with digital and analog media. I am a former urban planner and current conservation nonprofit director, and I understand the power of images on community.
My work has been selected for display or publication by:
U.S. News and World Report, Lonely Planet, Polaroid, The International Center of Photography, The American Institute for Architects Center for Architecture, & MLive Media Group.
