Scott is an ecological engineer and hydrologist with GEI Consultants, Inc. He’s been working on habitat restoration, including wetlands, streams and river restoration work for more than 25-years. He has also helped design, monitor and implement lots of green stormwater infrastructure as well as dozens of treatment wetlands. This work has led to an obsession with plants and trees and a new focus on ecohydrology – the interconnection between plants and the hydrologic cycle. What started out as an investigation into the science of hydrology and ecology has become something much more, much bigger and maybe hopefully in some way a chance to give back to this amazing planet we all share, humans and non-humans alike.
