The California Landscape Stewardship Network (CLSN) Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (Healing Severed Connections) Roundtable actively collaborate to create tools, approaches, and meaningful conversation that help evolve the work of landscape conservation to be more inclusive, equitable, and culturally relevant. The Mycelium Map is an ecological metaphor and a guide for equity work, providing the user with a pathway to explore, consider/reconsider, and act. The Map was created for the CLSN to guide individuals and organizations to drive conversation, lead action, and increase connectivity across our field of practice.
This workshop will provide a background on some of the work done in CLSN’s JEDI roundtable and dive deeper into the Mycelium Map. While we encourage you to navigate through the map individually taking the path that calls to you, a portion of our time together will be working through two activities on the Map.
