As we come to terms with Climate Change we need to recognize that an entirely new
environmental literacy must become ubiquitous in our schools. For the past 8 years, as a green leader of
a school , we have created pollinator stations, planted over 1000 trees and modified the curriculum to
reflect the fact that our world is experiencing climate change. These times are profound and we must
prepare our next generation to embrace a new ecological understanding of our role in this planet. This
presentation will explain the role of a school administrator and how we need to change our schools into
green and eco friendly spaces.
